This use of engraved cylinder printing achieves the ultimate in speed and repeatability with long tooling life. Useful in flagship lines that run without significant graphic changes.

A large CPG customer was experiencing scuff on their labels during product transit, decreasing their overall aesthetic appeal. Their previous solution was to place cardboard dividers around the neck of the product to eliminate any movement during distribution. However, this customer found that the cardboard dividers are very costly, $300M - $500M monthly.

CLEAR ADVANTAGE® - REVERSE PRINT REFPET
Heat Transfer label is the first of its kind for the HTL Ref PET technology. The label has a message inside that shows up as the bottle empties reminding the customer to return it.
This innovation significantly reduces the machine space and capital requirements of standard HTL technology. It also simultaneously improves atmospheric conditions and safety concerns by eliminating conveyors and open flames. Where space is a constraint, and safety is a concern, and capital costs are considered pivotal…flameless HTL is your solutions!
Glow in the Dark
Glow-in-the-Dark ink is one innovation sure to leave a lasting impression. It can add fun to the brand as well as functionality to the package. MCC ‘s innovation team developed a solution where the integrity of the Glow-in-the Dark features are maintained, even after shrink application.
The gems are applied to the labels using a heat press. This is a niche application and is currently only seeing limited use in the fashion industry. Gem application on a label is a fashion cue and creates a unique, premium look. This suggests the package contains a luxury or premium product. Multiple printing methods can be used to create the base graphics, but for optimal adhesion the gems need to be applied to a matte finish. The gems are available in multiple sizes and colors.
